Accelerating Colorado's Technology & Business Future

Colorado is a powerhouse for innovation and economic growth, especially in science and technology. We've got a thriving mix of new companies, established businesses, and a highly talented workforce. In 2017, the Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC) launched TechSource, a statewide program designed to fuel this growth. TechSource helps science and technology entrepreneurs and small businesses get the specialized advice, accelerator programs, and resources they need to launch, grow, and secure non-dilutive capital right here in Colorado.

So far, the Colorado SBDC TechSource program has supported hundreds of companies at every stage of their journey. How can the Colorado SBDC help you?

What Makes TechSource Different?

Different from other accelerators and incubators, the Colorado SBDC TechSource program focuses on non-dilutive capital sources for small innovative businesses, meaning the company does not give up ownership. Some of the funding sources this program covers includes:

  • Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant
  • Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant
  • Federal R&D tax credits
  • Equity Fundraising
  • Partner support for technology commercialization

Visit America's Seed Fund Webpage to learn more about SBIR and STTR grants.

Access to Non-Dilutive Capital Sources

Unlike other accelerators and incubators that demand a piece of your company, the Colorado SBDC TechSource program focuses exclusively on non-dilutive funding. This means you can secure substantial grants like the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR), along with vital Federal R&D tax credits. Keep 100% of your equity, 100% of your control, and 100% of your future.
