Multiweek Workshops

The Ascent program offers a series of focused, multi-session workshops designed to help science and technology companies in Colorado grow. These workshops provide a unique opportunity to connect with peers in similar industries and stages of development, while also building essential skills for securing non-dilutive capital.

Our first workshop in this series is Customer Discovery.

Why Participate?

Customer discovery is a crucial form of primary research where you engage directly with customers or industry experts to understand their buying behaviors and market perceptions. This program will guide you in refining your customer discovery process and leveraging your findings effectively.

Each week, participants will workshop key aspects of customer discovery for their business, including identifying customer segments, developing interview questions and scripts, and analyzing results. We focus on empowering you with the tools and strategies you need.

Please note: we do not provide connections to your customers.

Eligibility

To apply for the Ascent program, your business must:

  • Be a science and technology company headquartered in Colorado.
  • Have the potential to submit SBIR/STTR proposals.
  • Be in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State.

Cost

Thanks to funding from the Small Business Administration (SBA) Federal and State Technology (FAST) Partnership Program, this program is offered at no cost to accepted businesses.
