Aligned Sessions | Leadville, CO

In March 2025, Aligned Sessions opened its doors on West 6th Street in Leadville, bringing a mindful, movement-focused wellness studio to one of the highest-elevation communities in the country. Founded by Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher Stephanie Chapman, the boutique studio offers a personalized approach to strength, flexibility, and whole-body alignment.

Stephanie brings over a decade of expertise in Pilates, self-myofascial release, and functional movement to every session. At Aligned Sessions, clients choose from private 1:1 instruction or small group classes—each designed to meet individuals where they are in their movement journey. Whether building core strength, improving posture, or supporting recovery, Stephanie’s thoughtful programming helps people move with confidence and intention.

A Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, Stephanie holds advanced certifications in pelvic health and has trained alongside leading physical therapists. In addition to her Leadville studio, she teaches at Summit Pelvic Health in Frisco, collaborating with medical professionals to support clients through all stages of life.

The journey from concept to brick-and-mortar was supported by the Colorado SBDC in the Central Mountain region. Stephanie first connected with Director Jamie Billesbach when Aligned Sessions was still just an idea.

“The SBDC has been a huge help,” Stephanie shares. “Jamie answered all my questions and gave me a checklist for everything from licensure and business structure to sales tax. She made the process feel manageable.”

As the business grew, the Colorado SBDC provided continued mentorship. Jamie connected Stephanie with advisor Sam Block, who offered guidance on small-town marketing and strategic planning. “I appreciate the time these ladies spent with me and the resources they offered,” Stephanie says. “Knowing I can reach out at any time for support is invaluable.”

With a strong foundation and continued support from the Colorado SBDC, Stephanie is excited to help the Leadville community move, breathe, and live with strength and alignment.
