Bad Rock Auto | Pikes Peak, CO

Bad Rock Auto is a locally owned, small-town auto repair shop and used car dealership nestled in the foothills of Pikes Peak.

Owner Todd Basnett brings over two decades of automotive expertise to the venture. Todd began his career washing cars for a new car dealership in West Virginia while attending college. He quickly moved up, eventually becoming the youngest Harley-Davidson service manager in the country. Todd went on to spend many years honing his management skills with major brands, including Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep, GMC/Buick/Pontiac, and Ford. After helping an independent auto shop thrive, Todd knew it was time to take ownership of his own shop.

Todd fulfilled that long-time goal in January 2024 by purchasing Bad Rock Auto. He prepared for this step by engaging with the Colorado SBDC in Pikes Peak and completing a nine-week entrepreneurship course that began in March 2023. Today, Bad Rock Auto Repair and Dealership proudly caters to the small community, serving customers from in-town residences to the furthest ranch in the county.
