We’re thrilled to have CU Chancellor Dr. Justin Schwartz, a nationally recognized leader in engineering, research, and innovation, join us at the Contract Opportunities Expo.
Chancellor Schwartz brings decades of experience as a researcher, educator, entrepreneur, and academic leader at top-tier public universities, including serving as the Harold and Inge Marcus Dean at Penn State’s College of Engineering from 2017 to 2022. With a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a doctorate in nuclear engineering from MIT, his technical expertise is matched only by his commitment to creating inclusive, forward-thinking academic environments.
A fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and ASM International, Dr. Schwartz also holds seven patents

The Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is the only statewide, nationally accredited program founded to support entrepreneurs and small businesses at every stage of business. Since 1987, the Colorado SBDC has driven statewide economic growth by providing public access to expert resources and business guidance, empowering business owners to make informed decisions.
